I simultaneously got an email from PayPal confirming that a $218 charge had gone through to my account. I got a call this morning from this number. I was able to persue this charge with Bank of America. I called the real paypal at 88 and there was no record of this charge to my account with the real paypal. This is a fraudulent company posing as paypal. I immediately hung up because PayPal doesn't have my SS#Ĭalled to enquire about a purchase and past due delivery,notified disconnected. I received a call from them and missed the call and when I called it back it said it was Paypal and they needed my social to verify my acct. Called PayPal's main line and they verified it was just a courtesy call to verify a payment I sent.
